The State House Inn offers seven state-of-the-art meeting and reception spaces, depending on your space requirements and set up specifications. Catering is available in any of our spaces. A link is available to the right to view our extensive catering menu. Because the hotel offers a variety of food and beverage services, orders should be placed through our sales department. If you prefer to use your own catering service, a service charge may apply.

Upon booking, you will have a dedicated Event Manager to assist you in planning your event, whether it is a board meeting of five or a reception for 400.

The Governor’s Ballroom – Hotel Main Level
The Governor’s Ballroom debuted in 2010. This luxurious state-of-the-art space will accommodate parties and groups up to 400 guests, depending on the setup. Featuring modern audio/visual equipment, five-star catering, a built-in  walnut dance floor, 14’ ceilings, and all of the accessories and rental items to make your event a success! The room can be divided into separate intimate spaces, perfect for any size event. 

The Gallery Room – Hotel Main Level
This room is the largest of the four meeting rooms in the main building at 1200 square feet. The Gallery Room features a ceiling mounted LCD projector (with laptop connectivity), an electronic projection screen, VCR/DVD player, wireless and wired microphones, wireless high-speed internet and satellite television connections. With a built-in counter/buffet area, this space is perfect for lunch meetings or evening receptions.

The Assembly Room – Hotel Lower Level
This room is 500 square feet. The Assembly Room also features a ceiling mounted LCD projector (with laptop connectivity), an electronic projection screen, VCR/DVD player, wireless and wired microphones, high-speed internet and satellite television connections.

The Session Room – Hotel Lower Level
This room is 400 square feet. The Session Room features high-speed internet and satellite television connections. Many amenities available for additional rental charge, such as table top LCD or overhead projector, projection screen, television, VCR/DVD unit, and much more.

The Caucus Room – Hotel Lower Level
At 300 square feet, this intimate meeting space is perfect for your next board meeting or small group. This room features high-speed internet and satellite television connections. Many amenities available for additional rental charge, such as table top LCD or overhead projector, projection screen, Television, VCR/DVD unit, and much more.

The Piano Lounge – Hotel Main Level
The Piano Lounge adjoins the hotel main lobby and can open to “The No Name Bar”. This space offers beautiful views of the Illinois State Capitol building and a self playing baby grand piano. The Piano Lounge is perfect for an evening reception or day time function.

The No Name Bar – Hotel Main Level
This unique space is open from 4:00pm – 1:00am Monday – Saturday to the public. However, is also available during other times, including Sunday for your private party (shower, breakfast, luncheon, etc).
